Ice Harbor Lock and Dam Visitor Center

The Corps of Engineers Dams on Snake and Columbia River all have Fish ladder for Fish travel up river. You can observe the great number of salmon and steelhead in the fish viewing window. And thanks to the dams we have irrigation water for our farms and parks and recreational facilities along the Snake and Columbia River. Plus the barges take a huge amount of traffic off our roads and railway. This is a clean energy source and is much better than coal or nuclear.
