Added to my last review: They never closed out our account. Didn't even have us on their books as delivered, so we have been continuing to receive charge for storage months after our move!
The ONLY good part about our move with Zippy Shell were the onsite people who delivered and dropped off our shell in Nashville and Seattle (Mike in Seattle was great and so very helpful!)
We did a long distance move from Nashville to Seattle and had our shell stored for about a month. When we called on July 3rd to have our shell delivered, we were told the first available drop off date was July 23rd! That is absolutely ridiculous! Never were we told we needed to call one full month before we could get our things. Not only were we paying $3,000 for our cross country move, now we had to go out and buy additional clothing, furniture etc. that was in our shell we wouldn't have for 20 days.
Move day finally came, and Mike was very helpful. The movers, however (that we paid extra for) were not. The movers showed up with nothing. No dolleys or hand carts at all. WE had to go and get one ourselves to help speed up the move. WE also ended up unloading and moving half of our things ourselves as the movers were moving very slowly, taking breaks etc.
Finally, the customer service was good, when we could get a hold of them. Every single time I called our "coordinator", we were redirected to a customer service agent who would take our info and say a coordinator would call us back later. Most times, we didn't get called back until a day later, if at all. When we would finally get a hold of someone, they were able to resolve our issues/questions. I only spoke to our "dedicated" coordinator once through our entire move process. Zippy Shell was only quickly responsive when they were trying to get our business and when we got our initial shell dropped off in Nashville.
Very unhappy with our experience for the amount of money we paid.
