I am 50 and have had bronchitis and asthma since I was 14. I have a great doctor here, but she was out today and I went there sick with bronchitis starting again. I had the worst ARNP named Astrid Silder-Devin. Don't see her if you expect good bedside manners, a person who actually respects you know your body and actually have a clue to what your life experience with a chronic illness has presented. She argued with me saying Augmentin was only used for sinus infections. WRONG....NOT TRUE. Her ego is more expansive than her education. I filed a grievance, which never in my life felt obligated for the advocacy of other patients. Medical practice is just that, practice. Don't believe others know more about you than you do when it comes to a chronic illness you have had all your life. Trust yourself, your instincts. Oh, and don't see her if you go there. See ANYONE but her.
Its so difficult to find a good doctor or specialist this days, especially at Virginia Mason.
