Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge

We saw a heron, ducklings, blue jays, the black birds that have some red around their throats, and many other birds I don't know the names of. The walk is super easy, I think you could even take a person in a wheel chair, it's a gravel path. They don't allow bikes or dogs though. If you have binoculars bring them as you'll be able to see into marshes and such from many places along the trail. From May to October there is more of the trail open.
