When prescribed a controlled substance, I was initially told they didn't have it, then told they did have it and could fill it, then told my insurance wouldn't cover it and it'd be $100/month, then told my doctor had re-approved it and my insurance covered it, and when I showed up to actually pick up the medication, the clerk asked for my last name, and then just handed me the controlled, expensive medication without so much as a glance at any form of ID.
