Northwest Endovascular Surgery: Saravanan Kasthuri, MD

This review is on behalf of my grandmother. She had fallen at the end of 2016 and started having a lot of back pain. She was a very active woman who walked miles every day, but suddenly she was basically immobile. She could still shuffle about, but she was always in extreme pain and was hunched over more and more. We were recommended to Dr. Kasthuri's office because she had a few compounded vertebrae, I can't remember the exact amount, but it was at least 2. In January of 2017, he did a spinal augmentation, inserting bone cement into the fractured and compounded areas and as it dried, it held onto the fracturing pieces of her spine and held them together. Within just a few days of the procedure, she was completely pain free in her back! This was just amazing and, while she has other issues stopping her from going back to being active, she is much more independent than before the augmentation. This was like magic it was so quick and successful! The staff in the office are all very empathetic and take all of their patient's, and the families, concerns very seriously. I was, and continue to be, very impressed by their manner and professionalism. We recently revisited Dr. Kasthuri for my grandmother's sciatica and leg pains, but have been referred away as none of the issues we thought it could be were in fact, an issue at all. Relief. The staff was again, very pleasant and warm. I really feel like they care about their patients, which is a very lacking feeling in the medical community now a days. We weren't just a number in a file or a paycheck, he remembered us and asked after how it had been in the year since the augmentation. I definitely recommend this office and Dr. Kasthuri to other patients. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.
