This is not a major tourist destination, just a quiet stretch on the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. If the weather is clear, you can see Victoria, BC, in the distance, or Mount Baker (75 miles away), or the Olympic Mountains. The restoration effort is a work in progress, with minimal interpretive displays, but the birds and other wildlife don't seem to care. An excellent place to take a leisurely stroll along the shore, or birdwatch, or just take a nap.
