Murphy's Ice Cream

Use to work here back in high school. So I might have a bias but their made in house ice cream is to die for. Candy selection is superb and the atmosphere is usually very positive and family friendly. They even have a nice seating area so you can eat inside and not worry about the sand and wind. Also hours here are not set in stone through out the year, in fall, winter, and spring hours are shorter and in summer they are longer and will on occasion stay open longer then their posted times. Never hurts to stop by and check them out. They have a little something for everyone, even sugar free candies for diabetic family n friends.

We tried the following ice-cream flavors: Pistachio, Cotton Candy, Rocky Road, Blueberry, Sour blue raspberry and Birthday cake - all were very tasty! There isn't a lot of choice when it comes to toppings (nuts, chocolate chips or sprinkles) but the ice-cream doesn't really need toppings - it is incredibly good just on its own.

The ice cream was very good. Pretty expensive but that is to be expected in a vacation town.
