Seems like they care more about making money, not educating kids. After 3 weeks my 5 year old daughter was really bored there, I could hardly make her go. I saw how much she wanted to learn to read, but all she was doing at Montessori Central, is pouring beans from spoon to spoon, cutting squares and making endless holes in the paper for 2 months. Every time she asked to do something else, she was told that it's for big kids. She knew all the letters, shapes and some words, and used scissors by herself since she was 2 and a half, but school never gave her an evaluation, and she was "learning" what she already knew.
One day I come to pick my daughter up, and when she saw me, she happily said (didn't even yell) "mommy!", on what the unfriendly teacher's assistant with skulls over her sweater just SHUSHED her. Nobody is SHUSHING my daughter. We never went back. I started homeschooling her between my jobs and she was at Lever 3 reading and First grade math by the end of the same school year.
And, for a few months she had negative feelings when Montessori Central was mentioned.
