A couple weeks ago I brought a mini cooper in for a pre-purchase inspection. Dropped it off in the morning, came back in the afternoon. Got tons of information and details, photos, even video from the mechanic showing an ill-fitting aftermarket air intake. The staff are friendly and helpful. Gavin went over every detail of the inspection, including sharing a possible throw out bearing, which honestly saved me from buying a money pit. (BMW makes Minis, you have to pull the entire engine to repair the clutch, can you imagine paying $2000 to fix that after just spending $12,000 buying the car?)
My only regret is I took another prospective car to a different shop, assuming I'd receive similar service, and received little info, was told the vehicle is in excellent condition, and I bought it. I only took it elsewhere because I was impatient for availability (classes start this week, I need a car!) And now I've paid $10,000 for a pretty car with power issues. An issue which I mentioned to this other shop before dropping it off and was told they didn't see anything during inspection. I wish I'd have gotten a second opinion. Or just gone here.
I would definitely recommend M&N if you're looking for good, reliable, thorough auto repair. Excellent service! Thank you!
