Is Mary's paying reviewers to rate this restaurant above 3 stars...? Because this certainly is not a 4.5+ star quality place. My friend and I drove down here from Bellevue to check out a new joint and saw this being one of the better rated places... However, nothing about it was amazing. We arrived on a weekday for brunch and it was dead. When we sat down, the table behind us was accompanied with older folks and they completely stopped talking. There was no ambient music, no chatter between coworkers, nothing—it was creepy how quiet it was in the restaurant, making us uncomfortable to even talk to one another. The service was extremely slow (despite only ~5 people inside?) and it took 30+ MINUTES for our food to arrive. I was expecting a delicious meal, only to see four tiny slices of french toast, overcooked eggs, and bacon that was burnt. My friend's meal was not good either. Not to mention my meal was $14... absolutely insane for how much was provided and how low the quality was.
