I have worked out here for about 3 years... as long as it’s not too busy you can get in and get your work in without having to wait to use machines. The only time I have ever had an issue here the staff was very friendly and helpful in clearing things up. Great gym.
I have been a member here since it first opened. The dues have always been affordable and the aerobic, free weights, and body specific weight machines are well thought out for the available space. Over the last few years though the equipment has been neglected. I believe there are 10 treadmills. One hasn't worked for over a year, the incline on two or three aren't working. I don't use the 3 or 4 with monitors but my wife couldn't turn one on the other day. I did mention the incline issue to one staff member but so far nothings been done. It takes a while to get some of the bikes, elliptical's or steppers to get fixed when they make noise or need repair. The foam handles on a lot of the machines are worn out and torn. Some elbow rest pads have been duct tapped and loose. The door handles to the changing rooms hang down. The numbers to the weight stacks are worn out. The staff may be unaware of these things. Maybe no one mentions these issues so they don't know. Are the owners and staff complacent about the upkeep? I've talked to a few members about this and they see the same things. It wouldn't take much to get the gym up to a top notch facility for what it is and a little pro active upkeep would be appreciated by all members.
