Eye exam was fine. Not the best we have ever received but ok. The "store" experience was one of the worst ever. The lady working obviously did not like her job. You have to sign in, just to look at the frames. What frame /optical shop does that? They had zero experience with kids. Forced to use them because of insurance. They are not opened on weekends so in order to pick up or have adjustments made I have to take kiddo out of school. Not much selection of frames. I have had glasses and contacts for 30+years. Never had this poor of service anywhere before.
I've now been with Kaiser over a year and to say I was less than enthusiastic about having to go with an HMO for private insurance would be an understatement. I've been astounded with my level of care with Kaiser. I've never had to wait very long and that includes the pharmacy. I've had excellent care and service from my PCP, the specialists I've seen, and the surgery center. Test results are posted quickly to your online account so there's no waiting days to hear back from your Dr and billing is very easy.
