I had waited 5 months to see her in my 1st visit. I chose Dr Chao based on her video and about-me written on Swedish's main site, describing their providers. I naively thought that Dr Chao would ask me questions to connect all of my concerns as it seemed her bio video showed her desire to treat the whole health after dissecting a patient's concerns and history. All that I received is a very stoic bedside manner, with zero questions into my history or such, and then she confirming I had a lump in my breast and, with no emotion or support, says in front of my child, "Go find out if it's cancer and get it removed, as it easy to do so." Too unfeeling and could have cared less about asking questions about my life leading up to appointment. My other physicians have always asked and we're interested, including my child's practitioner, because A HISTORY CAN BE VERY RELEVANT TO SOMEONE'S HEALTH OR DISEASE.
