Food is great! Service is lacking, but not from lack of effort. As a restaurant worker for 20 years and counting, it seems as though the server rotation or section size is off. We were greeted by our server and got our check from our server, but we were checked on through out our meal by at least 3 people and a manager...that said, maybe communication between staff could be improved. They were out of the appetizer we ordered and only found out about it 15 minutes after we ordered it...but they replaced it and took it off the bill without us asking and we appreciated that! Again, food is great...but in a restaurant that was about 3/4 full and plenty of staff, I think things could be easily improved on the service side of things. Perhaps let the servers/staff focus on their guests experience rather than turning over the table. We go to the smokey point location all the time and in a restaurant that has been full on several occasions, we have had better service.
