Graebel Van Lines

Graebel destroyed all our large furniture and will not replace it. They took apart our dining table in California and put it back together in Washington. While putting it back together, they drilled through the top. They left a screw sticking out of the top, then tried to hide it with another box. The only brand new furniture I ever bought, a media table and bookshelf from Crate and Barrel, were scratched on every side. The driver of the moving van used a vintage theater folding chair as a seat while driving from California to Washington and broke the chair. After all of this and two months of back and forth, they offered us $2,500 for all three items, that total cost well over $6000. That or they will “fix it.” They encourage taking the money, as “fixing it” would require sanding down each piece, filling it, and staining each item (too much work). Also if they “fix it,” which they did to the vintage folding chair, 1 of a set of 4, and it “is not to your standards” (aka does not match the other 3 chairs at all) they will give you half the value. I never write reviews for companies but I am blown away at the horrible customer service of this company.
