this is a library, not a bar. see pic. PICTURE taken on a saturday night during prime time, ten pm. everybody is glued to their phone doing research. the lights were very bright, so researchers can read the footnotes. the jukebox was at about 63 decibels. when i asked the bartender to turn it up, so at least the place would SOUND like a bar, she walked over to the remote, pushed something, and nothing happened and she said, "See, it's already up". there are a boat load of large bose speakers hanging all over the place. i think maybe they should hire fun loving people loving bartenders and let the librarians go work at the library. SATURDAY NIGHT DURING PRIME TIME!! maybe it's just a place for local regulars to eat. shhh!
having vented above, i have been in the place when it's rockin. once. maybe there was one or two fun place employees on duty that night
