Moved from another state, assigned Dr. Gould. As a new patient, she refused to refill my daily meds from previous doctor. I brought in several specialist reports (GI, Rheumatology) to confirm that daily meds are needed, and she tells me that symptoms are due to my "painful past" and refuses specialist reports, and instead states symptoms are in my head! She saw the difficulty I have walking (random) at one visit and accused me of faking it!! I had to call the director of the medical facility she worked at and they told me they would find me a new physician. I waited for almost a year, calling and asking for her to listen, sending emails begging for help to the other doctors in the facility, and she finally referred me to a physiotherapist. The physiotherapist referred me to a movement specialist that has diagnosed me with Stiff Person Syndrome. Dr. Gould needs a different profession outside of the medical field.
