Update 10/19/2017: Came back here today after 4 months to get some ginger elixirs. While I was there I learned something new that I did not know before which makes the rewards program even less appealing than it was before. I was told that because my total wouldn't be $20 in this one visit, the money I spent would not go towards a star. I was under the impression before that as long as you spend money, it adds up each time you go until it gets to $20 at which point you then get a star, and those stars add up until you get to 10 for your free drink. The rewards program is barely a reward. It's great to have a juice place in issaquah and I will frequent this place when I can justify the high prices, or when the rewards program or cleanse program offers better incentive. I've been there twice and the juices are of high quality, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the environment is lounge friendly with books and a nice seating area that absorbs a lot of outside light. Some things that the business needs to improve before I start raving about this place: -Their reward (star) program: after spending $20, your account gets a star. After 10 Stars you get a free drink. That means that you would have to spend $200 before you get a free drink, that is not a great incentive for me. Not only that but the $200 is pre-tax! Talk about nickle and diming the customer. Would really like to see their rewards program be more rewarding. -Their cleanse programs. They offer different cleanse programs on their menu for a set price, which include specific juices depending on the cleanse you choose. Except, when I did the math- there is no discount! So what is the purpose? This I don't understand. If I were going to choose to do a cleanse, then I might as well just choose my own juices seperately so that way I get everything that I want. There's no disadvantage to doing this, because it would cost me the same amount of money to just choose my own 6 juices and an elixer as it would to chose a cleanse program which includes a set 6 juices and elixer for the same price. -I would like to see more juices offered without any sweetener (raw organic honey is what they use), currently they offer just two; Deep Greens and Viridescent Greens. I will say that they offer elixer shots without any sweetener (at least the four that I've seen), which are my favorite thing to buy here. The ones that I like to buy are; Stay Gold (tumeric juice), Immunity Shot (ginger juice). I did try Fire Cider which is tumeric, Apple cider vinegar, ginger, garlic and lemon and I will not buy it again as the only thing I tasted was Apple cider vinegar. In my opinion the Apple cider vinegar should be very diluted by the tumeric, garlic, ginger and lemon. If I wanted to take a shot of Apple cider vinegar, which I do often, I can do so at home for a large fraction of the price. -The business offers a bottle return incentive of only $0.50 per bottle. For this price, I would rather just keep the bottles for my own canning purposes. They are great thick glass bottles. -To anyone reading this I would just advise, that you read about the effects of activated charcoal in our bodies. There is a new hype about activated charcoal and you will find it in so many things nowadays, claiming to be healthy and good for our bodies. Activated charcoal, although very good at getting toxins out of the digestive system and stomach for emergency medical purposes, should not be consumed on a regular basis if at all unless for medical emergency. Activated charcoal can be very good for removing toxins, but once it is in your digestive tract, it remains and not only removes the bad but also the good. I would also advise the business owner to conduct her own research on activated charcoal in juices because it may convince her to remove it from her menu. Even through all the cons, I love to support small businesses, local at that and with good product. So, I will be back but, would be back more often if the things I mentioned above were altered to offer more incentive to the customer.
