To sum it up:
The good:
-We had a reservation and were sat right away on a Friday night
-The portions were good sized everyone in my party left full
-This place had a great atmosphere.
-They give Birthday desserts
The bad:
-Our waitress was working a large party in another area of the restaurant so for the first 30 minutes we saw her 1 time.
-We shared appetizers and had soup then our waitress just assumed that we are finished and offered dessert.
-The fondue we ordered came out completely cold. We asked another staff member if we could get it heated up and her reply was "Sure, that happens sometimes" -- it's fondue that shouldn't really happen at all.
- We routinely had to flag people down to get more water.
- We ordered entrees and added a side of mashed potatoes and gravy (which we expected to pay for) however these also came out cold.
- So with poor service and poor kitchen timing you would think something would be comp-ed or a credit for future dining. Nope nothing like that. So that points to poor management not training staff how to address customer service issues. It's disappointing because my boyfriend who made the reservations expected more and had told both the person who took the reservation and the waitress that it was a special occasion.
I would not recommend going here on a busy night( although Friday night is primetime and most managers plan staff accordingly) They don't seem to know how to work together to ensure their patrons are taken care of. Again that comes down to poor management.
