I came to the Bethel Family Center seeking any kind of assistance. My husband and I make too much money for anything but, yet, barely scrape by because of rising rent costs. I signed up to get help with a Thanksgiving basket and they called and said I could come pick it up. However, when I got there no one would assist me and I sat for almost 20 minutes. I am tears, right now, because I feel like sad that nobody is willing to help my family. We are honest people and do the best we can and almost never ask for anything. Just to get a little help for the holidays would have been nice.
