The United States Army can train a civilian to soldier in less time than it takes BofA to underwrite a loan. Seriously, I think their underwriting process will kick a loan back at the first sighting of an error, instead of looking at a file for every error, 9 out of 10 errors have been on BofA's side, but still, I can't count the amount of times the underwriters kick the papers back. On contract extension #3 now, (2 1/2 months since contract signed), and they still can't get it straight. If I weren't selling this house to a family member, and they were already in it, I would have had a different bank get the loan. Currently homeless now, living in a motel, because they went from "we can close it in less than a month" to over 3 months to close a simple damned loan. Stay away from these morons if you want a loan.
Very slow customer service. Getting a safe deposit box took nearly an hour.
