Oh I love this store and wish they had more selection for gifts cause it’s so cool. Got some frankincense and some Greek tea still on the stalk here for a friend who likes rare thing. The tea is nice and different. The guy who owns it is delightful. It’s a bit off the beaten track. Check out the stuffed beaver next door.
I first encountered this fantastic little shop at the Northwest tea festival three years ago. I was instantly bewitched by the steam punk theme, and pleasantly surprised by the expertly blended and curated assortment of teas and tisanes! I would absolutely make stopping by this little grotto a must for any tea fanatic!
They have an amazing range of unique blends and traditional teas. The quality is one of the (if the number one) best tea shops in the area. The pricing is good for what they offer. The owner is a wonderful guy and the workers are friendly, it shows how much they love what they do. I was introduced to the shop at a convention in 2013 and been a fan since. They are low pressure for sales when it comes to tea tasting. I live out in the Bremerton area now but will find an excuse to make the trip out to them in Seattle. My favorites are their Straight from the Fridge, Kava Koko, Grog, and Mountain Blue Mint. Great place, great products, and great people.
