Astria Hospital AKA Regional Medical Center: I cannot understand why they hire the rudest people to answer phones there.When you call to be transferred to a patient's room, the operator is often grumpy, rude and impatient. When calling, I've even overheard them talking bad about "stupid callers". I'm not sure how asking to be transferred to a specific room is "stupid" since this is what They are employed to do. They are representing a hospital where many people are often emotional & worried when they call. I think hospital should be aware of this issue as I've heard many people state this is an issue for them too. My husband is often a patient there due to a painful, chronic disease and I'm amazed at how well he has been treated. Amazing doctors & nurses.
