I had multiple conversations with Brad Franz (owner) prior to my needing a shop floor, about 1550 sq ft. After reviewing several bids from other contractors, I decided Apple Cement Finishing would be a good fit for my project. Brad did talk a good story. I hired Brad to do the work about 6 weeks prior to my needing the work done. In the interim, we had 2 or 3 conversations about timing and the specifics of the job. He agreed to come out in few days , approximately 2 weeks before the job, to take final measurements and finalize the specifics of the job. He NEVER showed up when he said he would nor did he call and explain why he didn't show up. About a week later I called to find out where I was in the job que and when my job was to be scheduled. He NEVER called back. This caused me extra work as I had to cover the in-floor radiant heating pipes and a significant delay in finding another contractor. I'm not sure about what quality of work he does, but his business practices leave a lot to be desired. I would have more respect for Brad if he had just called and said he wasn't interested in doing my job. Bottom line, I will never hire him to do any work for me and I will be sure to tell all my friends not to use Apple Cement Finishing for any work what so ever.
